Sprach ich davon, dass die Zusage des Irans, nun mit der IAEA die noch offen stehenden Fragen zur Geschichte seines Atomprogramms klären zu wollen, Teil eines Verhandlungspakets ist, das die Unterhändler Ali Larijani mit dem EU Außenbeauftragen Javier Solana ausgehandelt haben?

Vielleicht lohnt es sich doch, Hosseini gelegentlich genauer zuzuhören, denn er sagte heute noch etwas anderes über die gestrigen Gespräche zwischen Larijani und Solana in Lissabon.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said here Sunday the issue of recognizing Iran’s enrichment right has been raised in Iran-West talks.

Hosseini made the remark at his weekly press conference in response to a question whether the issue of enrichment suspension was discussed in talks between Iran’s top nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani and the EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana in Lisbon Saturday night.

“The time for discussing the issue of enrichment has come to an end. The issue of recognizing Iran’s right to enrich uranium is the question at present,” he said.
